On that day people usually go back home to have family reunion . Each family will have the members get together to have a big dinner. The most popular food is moon cakes. They are round and look like the moon.
The moon is the brightest this night. People eat the delicious food while they are enjoying a beautiful full moon in their yard. At this time, some old people would like to tell many past events and tell the children a story about the rabbit on the moon . The children really believe that there is a rabbit on the moon. They hope to go to the moon and have a look one day.

早晨，我刚刚起床，人就异常兴奋。因为今天是八月十五号，一年一度的中秋节终于来了。今天一大清早，爸爸妈妈还有我就一起到超市买菜，月饼等食物。 下午爸爸妈妈都在厨房里忙着杀鸡，杀鱼，切肉，切菜，忙的真是不亦乐乎。
吃晚饭的时候，我埋头吃饭，简直有点狼吞虎咽似的。不一会儿，我就第一个吃好了饭。我马上去做好了赏月的准备工作。
等啊等，等啊等，我始终没能揭开月亮神奇的面纱。不禁让我想起了嫦娥奔月的故事，人们是为了纪念嫦娥才将八月十五定为了人们企盼团圆的中秋佳节。还令我想起了一首脍炙人口的名诗静夜思:床前明月光，疑是地上霜。举头望明月，低头思故乡。这首诗表现了诗人李白思念家乡的感情。使我不时想起了驻守边疆的战士在中秋节这个日子里不能与家人团聚。
这月亮怎么还不现出真面目，我想一睹书中所说:多么圆，亮，大，美丽的中秋月亮啊!我百思不得其解的去询问家长，原来我的是受第13号台风“森拉克”的影响。虽然今天没能如我所愿的看到中秋节的月亮，但是我还是十分开心。
中秋节的来历也有人说是当时老百姓们为推翻元朝的暴虐统治把”杀靴子，灭元朝;八月十五家家齐动手”的纸条放进月饼里互相传递!到了八月十五元朝被老百姓们推翻了.也许我们现在吃月饼是为了庆祝胜利的喜悦吧!也有人说中秋节是丰收的季节，是农民们体验享受丰收的喜悦与高兴吧!

今天是农历八月十五日，一年一度的中秋节到了。

到了晚上，妈妈烧了很多菜，有我最喜欢吃的鸡爪。早早地吃了饭，我们在一起看电视、吃月饼。我一会儿看电视，一会儿跑到阳台上看月亮。
无边无际的天空中挂着一面又大又圆的月亮，像一个淡黄色的大玉盘，散发着银色的柔光，照着大地。观赏着月亮，一阵凉爽的风吹来，让人非常舒服。

The festival has a long history. In ancient China, emperors followed the rite of offering sacrifices to the sun in spring and to the moon in autumn. Historical books of the Zhou Dynasty had had the word "Mid-Autumn". Later aristocrats and literary figures helped expand the ceremony to common people. They enjoyed the full, bright moon on that day, worshipped it and expressed their thoughts and feelings under it. By the Tang Dynasty (618-907), the Mid-Autumn Festival had been fixed, which became even grander in the Song Dynasty (960-1279). In the Ming (1368-1644) and Qing (1644-1911) dynasties, it grew to be a major festival of China.
People in different places follow various customs, but all show their love and longing for a better life. Today people will enjoy the full moon and eat moon cakes on that day.
The moon looks extremely round, big and bright on the 15th day of each lunar month. People selected the August 15 to celebrate because it is a season when crops and fruits are all ripe and weather pleasant. 吃完晚饭就打开窗帘，准备好好赏一次月。
拉开窗帘，我才发现：今晚出来的小星星很少，只有一颗孤零零的在上面，陪伴着月亮。我猜想，一定是月亮姐姐和小星星们在玩捉迷藏。但是，小星星都很聪明，躲到了像墨汁一样的乌云后面。因此月亮姐姐就找不到他们，只有一个调皮的小星星说话声音太大了，所以才被抓了出来。
再看看月亮，今晚果然很圆很圆，在黑布一样的天空中发出自己的光芒。“咦，月亮上面怎么有几个身影在动?”我仔细看了看月亮，奇怪地想，但是，我马上又明白了：“一定是第六届书香班级乘着月光来到了月亮上，和嫦娥、玉兔以及吴刚在吃月饼呢!”他们多开心啊，谈笑风生，第六届书香班级还说了不少校讯通的新鲜事呢!
我不禁想起了这几句诗词：“明月几时有，把酒问青天。不知天上宫阙，今夕是何年……”突然，嫦娥脸色一沉。我猜，她一定是想起后羿了吧。她肯定后悔当年偷吃了所有的不死药，结果落得现在只能每夜思念着他，却不能与他相见。红尘滚滚，世事苍苍，这就是一念之差。
吴刚和第六届书香班级连忙劝嫦娥，让她不要再伤心了。吴刚还拿出一些柴火来，在月亮上点燃了一堆明亮的篝火。但是，他从哪里得到的柴火呢?可能是苍天被他那种坚持不懈的精神给打动了，所以让他砍倒了广寒宫门口那棵大桂树吧。我正想得入迷，突然，只听妈妈大喊道：“豪豪，快去睡觉，你已经看了半个小时了!”
母命不能不从，我只好上床睡觉，但心里还一直惦记着月亮。月亮啊月亮……

今天我们到奶奶家去过中秋。
我和姐姐在外面玩，因为今天的月亮会是滚圆滚圆的，不像往常一样弯弯的，可是还没等我们看到月亮就下起了雨。
